Audience Profile Analysis

Introduction

In media, all things must have a target audience or it wont grab anyone's attention. So for this blog post, we had to pick two different magazine covers to analyze and interpret the audience that the certain magazine is trying to reach. This project is a good way to practice how we can improve our audience understanding, and figure out how certain magazines can reach their desired audiences.

The two images before you are analyzations of two different magazines of the same genre. Though, even if its the same genre it can target a complete different audience. From the data I collected and observed, it helps prove my statement above.

In conclusion, this blog post was harder than I originally thought. It was time consuming but kind of fun to put together. I understand the topic of audience profiling now, and how it effects the viewing of ones media. My magazine is made for everyone, but only if they have the desire to try new dishes. All magazines have different ways to attract their desired audiences.. whether if its big bold letters, or eye catching phrases. I hope if I use catchy, bold, and interesting headlines, I can attract my desired audiance.
