Introduction

Masthead play's a big part in magazine making, coming up with a name while also trying to decide the font that would be used. So today in class, I tested out different fonts, decided which ones I would pick out for magazine magazine, and play a game-like-practice called Kern Type and put the correct amount of space between letters in a word to test out our editing skills and our knowledge is Typography.

My Picks

I picked a mixture of these fonts because I think they fit into the asthetic I'm going for, for the magazine. From my choices, I picked Perfectly Vintages, and Nexa because I find that they fit the most into the food magazine quality and are clear to read and are very enjoyable. I particularly enjoyed this assignment because we got to pick our designs, which I enjoy a lot. So I cant wait to put is all together to see the final product.
